This homeowner called us about issues with her living room feeling too cold in the winter and too warm in the summer. We here at Complete Home Solutions want your home to feel as comfortable as possible, so we sent someone right away to figure out how we could make their home more comfortable. James arrived on the scene and found pretty quickly that their insulations R-value was too low and not high enough for the area. The batt insulation that they did have was also not as efficient as the blown-in cellulose insulation that we install. With the evaluation finished, the next step was to get a crew out and get started on the work! Logan and Paul showed up and got right to work. They started by air sealing the attic so that the conditioned air stays in the house and doesn't leak into the attic, lost forever. They installed baffles and created a walkway down the length of the attic so that the HVAC is easily accessible once the insulation is installed. Once everything is prepped and ready for the insulation truck, we start to install the new blown-in cellulose up to the proper R-value. Now they have a professional looking attic with the right amount of insulation!
This happy homeowner mentioned how they noticed a difference right away and saw that her energy bills were also reduced from what they were before! If you have an uncomfortable that needs fixing, call us at Complete Home Solutions and we'll help you out!
This homeowner had his crawl space encapsulated by us and was so pleased with our work, he called in order to have us come clean his gutters and install Gutter Guards to make sure it stays clean! When the crew got there, the gutters were in pretty poor condition. Almost every downspout was clogged and leaves and other debris filled the gutters throughout. They removed the leaves and scraped the bottom of the gutter to make Sure they are as clean as possible before covering them. Once cleaned, they started to install the guards section by section. When it was finished, all 200+ linear feet of gutters were covered and cleaned.
The next time it rained, the homeowner noticed water exiting the downspouts and was pleased with our work once again!
JoeAnne called in saying that she had just recently constructed a carport and wanted to know if we could add insulation to the walls. Of course! We had our Home Comfort Specialist, Charlie, head out and provide the different options in which we could insulate her new carport. JoeAnne decided to use batt insulation on the walls and spray foam the rim joist and band board. With the work set up for our Home Comfort Technicians, we sent JB and Jason out to complete The job. They started by spray foaming the rim joist and band board which is important because they are major sources of air leakage within your home. Around 40% of heat loss in a home can be attributed to air leakage so it is important to make sure they are sealed properly. After spray foaming, they installed the batt insulation on the exterior walls and completed the job!
JoeAnne loved how the job turned out and can't wait to enjoy warmer temperatures in her new carport!
Kenneth reached out to us in order to add some insulation to his garage attic in order to help sell the house. After Charlie, our Home Comfort Specialist, investigated he confirmed that some more insulation should be added to be up to code for the area. The next step was to send out Insulation Installers, Jason and Ever, to add cellulose onto the current insulation. This way, the cellulose gets into more cracks within the current insulation while also adding more R-value. Once the insulation was installed, the job was done!
Kenneth was very pleased with the work!
This homeowner contacted us and wanted someone to come and see what we could do to make her home more efficient, she made the right call by contacting us! We sent Jack, one of our Home Comfort Specialists, to assess what could be done. After Jack inspected her home, he came to the conclusion that encapsulating the crawlspace and adding insulation to the attic would make a huge difference. We started in the crawlspace by removing the old insulation and any debris that was in the way. Next, we added a new 20mil vapor barrier to help block and moisture from seeping through the ground and into the home. Finally, once the vapor barrier is installed, we spray foam the walls to prevent any moisture seeping though the foundation while also acting as an insulator. We generally spray 2-3 inches on the walls to make sure the crawl is well insulated. Now the crawl is looking good and working to keep her home as efficient as possible.
The homeowner called us weeks after to let us know that she has felt a huge difference and her energy bill was much lower!
