This beautiful home in Silver Spring, MD had a very large attic that they wished to turn into a bedroom.

Our Crew air sealed and installed spray foam insulation to the entire attic. This brought the attic into conditioned space and can now be used as a functional and comfortable bedroom for the family.

Mark called Complete Home Solutions to examine uncomfortable temperatures in a few bedrooms of his Silver Spring, MD home. Following a full inspection from one of our Home Comfort Specialist, it was determined that the uncomfortable temperatures were due to old batt insulation in the cantilever below 2nd-floor bedrooms. Our Solution to this problem was to have our Home Comfort Technicians remove the old batt insulation, which is designed to allow air to flow through it, and replace it with our 2 part closed cell spray foam, which acts as a solid barrier restricting airflow through it. Tim's home had an addition added to it several years ago and was insulated underneath by old fiberglass batt insulation.
