Before We Got Started
As you can see, this once level area has an old vapor barrier that no longer covers the whole floor. As well as mounds of dirt that have been formed from water under the home
Bolting the Vapor Barrier to the Wall
Unlike other companies, at Complete Home Solutions we bolt our CleanSpace vapor barrier to the wall to create a barrier that doesn't allow any moisture or pests to enter the crawls space from the walls.
Laying the rest of the Vapor Barrier
After bolting it to the walls our Home Comfort Technicians lay the rest of the vapor barrier as well as running it up any supports or beams in the crawl space.
Time to Spray Foam
The next step is to use our 2 part closed cell spray foam to insulate and seal the walls. The Spray foam seals all of the vents that allow air into the crawl space, while also making the space fully insulated. Following the step the crawl space is completely separated from the outside and the elements
Installing the Dehumidifier
The final step we take in the encapsulation process is installing a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier creates an environment that stays at a consistent 50-55% humidity level.
