Before We Got Started
This is what the attic looked like before we got started. While the home had existing Cellulose insulation in the attic, it was not nearly enough to properly insulate the home. The duct work was not insulated at all, this allowed air to escape as it was being blown through the house.
Removal of the Insulation
Our Crew began by removing the old insulation from the attic. This provides us a clean work space to start our work.
Air Sealing the Attic
By air sealing the attic it prevents air from escaping out of the home through any cracks that may be in seams or light fixtures around the attic floor.
Spray Foam of The Duct Work
By spray foaming the duct work, it prevents any air from escaping when being circulated around the home.
Blown in Cellulose Insulation
The final step is to blow in the new Cellulose insulation into the attic. the transformation of this attic is complete.
