Before our Crew got to Work
As you can see our Technicians had their work cut out on this crawl. Our first step was to remove the old insulation and vapor barrier before we got to work.
Time for the Vapor Barrier
Our next step was laying down our CleanSpace vapor barrier. We take the time to run it up the post in your crawl space as well as bolting it to the wall. This ensures moisture or pest cant make it in from the ground.
Mold-X Application
in a humid area like the crawl space, we often spray Mold-X which helps prevent mold from growing on beams under your home.
Spray Foam Added to the Walls
to make it a true encapsulation our crew applied 3 inches of spray foam to the walls. This seals all of the vents which allowed air to flow in and out of the crawl space, while also insulating all of the walls.
Don't Forget About the Door
We don't leave out any detail when encapsulating your crawl, and that includes the door. Our doors are made our of PVC plastic which is virtually indestructible, and are equipped with 4 wing nuts to give it a strong seal.
