Before We Got Started
This Crawl Space was in bad shape before we got there. With no vapor barrier on the ground or any form of insulation, humidity and moisture were free to roam.
Mold Treatment
To prevent any progression in organic growth, our Technicians spray a mold treatment on all the beams.
Beginning the Vapor Barrier
Our crew then began the process of putting down the vapor barrier. This is the view from the entrance to the crawl space. With the ability of storage this vapor barrier will allow for a clean surface and a added storage area in this home that is clean and controlled.
Vapor Barrier Secured to the Wall
One of the extra steps we take that other companies wont, is securing our vapor barrier to the wall of your crawl space. By bolting it to the wall, we can ensure that no moisture or un wanted pest can come in to your crawl from the below.
Spray Foam Added to Exterior Walls
Now that the vapor barrier is laid, our Technicians spray the walls with spray foam. This process keeps humidity and moisture from making its way into you crawl space through external walls. This is a key element in ensuring a true encapsulation.
