Crawl Encapsulation in Pasadena, MD

This homeowner called in stating that they had issues keeping their home at a comfortable temperature and noted that their AC and heat was constantly running. Their energy bills were getting too expensive and needed an expert opinion on how to reduce the costs. After a thorough investigation, James came to the conclusion that the insulation in their crawl space was old and outdated. With that, we got them on the schedule for our Home Comfort Technicians to go out and remedy these issues. JB and his crew arrived and dove straight into the crawl and got to work! First, they removed all of the old batt insulation and then started to install the new CleanSpace vapor barrier. This will help block moisture from rising from the ground and into the home. Finally, we spray foam 2 inches onto the exterior walls, this way, they have the proper R-value of insulation and to ensure that the crawl is air-tight.
