I believe I may have mold in my hvac ventilation and want to know if that is something you can check for? I have a musty smell coming from downstairs. Our bathroom pipes had to be fixed last year (the floor had to be busted up to get to them), but we never finished replacing everything. Since then I keep smelling musty odors and think moisture got into the vents and started growing mold.

I've had several people out to look at this issue, including members of your team. The latest opinion I have is that the newer high efficiency HVAC system removes so much moisture that the existing non-wrap insulated duct work cannot hands the amount of moisture. There is also a layer of plastic sheeting between the duct work and the drywall ceiling (which collapsed due to the weight of the accumulated water). One recommendation I've received is to 'wrap insulate' the duct work....how does that happen with a ceiling in place (albeit a damaged ceiling)? Does you company do the demo and then do the wrap insulate work? My insurance company will only pay for the ceiling repair - obviously don't want to repair the ceiling if the insulation issue is not resolved. Thanks.
