Before We Got Started
Here is what the attic looked like before the transformation.
Removal of Insulation and Air Sealing
After we removed all the insulation our Technicians air sealed any cracks or seams in the attic to not allow air into the attic. They also installed baffles to ensure that the attic was getting proper air flow, as well as allowing us to blow insulation to ever corner of the attic.
Spray Foam of The Duct Work
Our next step was to spray foam the duct working the homes attic to ensure no air was escaping when being circulated through the home.
Spray Foam Attic Wall
Our crew also applied spray foam to a high wall in the attic over the living room, this reaches and seals spots that Cellulose will not reach.
Blown in Cellulose Insulation
The final step of the project was to blow in a new layer of Cellulose insulation. The New Cellulose adds 16 inches of insulation that helps keep the conditioned air from your home from escaping into the attic, while also trapping the external air in the attic and preventing from entering your home.
