Unfortunately, we can lose a lot of our air through the attic, causing uncomfortable temperature differences throughout the home. The attic hatch (being a very large, open space) is responsible for much of this. In other words, if you treat the attic but don't treat the hatch, you're not really doing much good.
For this homeowner we installed an attic tent cover. This makes it so that the attic is still accessible to the homeowner, but air is no longer leaking out. This is a critical step in creating a thermal barrier for the home.
