With the work planned out, the next step is to send our Home Comfort Technicians, lead by Alex, to put the plan into action! Alex started by removing the flooring and prepping the attic floor for the Insulation Truck and once it was ready, he moved onto spray foaming the knee walls. Our two-part spray foam not only insulates the walls, but it also seals them which will alleviate that drafty feeling. Finally, Alex installed radiant barrier on the roof deck in order to reduce heat gain, this helps minimize the heat that radiates within the attic from your roof. Finally, the Insulation Truck came and blew 17 inches of blown-in cellulose into the attic to complete the job!
