National Healthy Homes Month 2021

Every year June is National Healthy Homes Month. This year for NHHM the theme is “The Power of Partnerships!” This year the campaign aim's to "increase awareness of housing-related health hazards, lead poisoning prevention, and the overall principles of a healthy home" and to "encourage residents to take actions and steps for safe and healthy homes."

National Healthy Homes Month (NHHM) was established to focus national attnetion on ways to keep people of all ages safe and healthy in their home. The goal of this month is to increase the awareness and understanding of what federal and local resources are available to all homeowners. National Healthy Homes Month also focuses on the the importance of home assessments, and the impact awareness can have on your healthy.
