Breakfast Club Delivery

This morning Linda, Larry and Noah took part in our very first Breakfast Club delivery. The Breakfast Club is a summer program coordinated by Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, providing a free breakfast to children in South County. Breakfast bags (with a different “menu” for each day) are handed out Monday through Friday. On Friday larger bags of groceries are given to any family who wants one. During the summer of 2015, a total number of 5,551 breakfast bags were handed out. This morning Linda, Larry, and Noah got to hand out over 100 breakfast bags to many eager and grateful children. It was great to see how excited all the children were to get their delicious breakfast. It’s a great feeling being able to help our local community and we can’t wait to go back next week!
