The Time is Changing

It's time to spring forward.  Remember to turn your clocks forward 1 hour on Sunday morning at 2:00 a.m. or before you go to bed on Saturday night.

The beginning of daylight savings time is also a good reminder to make sure that smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are in good working condition - since these are two two of the most important safety items in your home.  

Changing batteries alone is not enough to properly maintain your alarms and detectors.  They should be tested once per month to make sure they are still in good working condition.  In addition, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors should also be replaced every 10 years.
