Giving Tuesday

The story of a Californian mother of 2, Jamie-Lynn Knighten, inspired the nation to pay it forward. After getting to the check-out with $200 worth of groceries, her only credit card was declined. A 28-year-old man identified as Matthew Jackson insisted on paying her bill with the condition that she pay it forward for someone else.  When Ms. Knighten called his work a week later to thank this good samaritan, she was informed by his coworkers that less than 24 hours after his good deed Matthew died in a car accident.

This story has inspired many to pay it forward in memory of Matthew Jackson.
